5 Rounds With Nicki Minaj (Interview with Desi Hits & Indian accent imitation)

Nicki Minaj goes 5 rounds in this Desi Hits interview - check it [out] as she discusses her career jump-off success, current world tour, and although she doesn't discuss her beef with Lil Kim (for the first time) - she throws in an Indian accent imitation for humor.

This past Saturday, Nicki also announced via Twitter & Facebook that she's recording a new video - but she's keeping the title a secret until the official release. [All] The Scoop Media bets her upcoming video will [most likely] be for her song, "Did It On'em" - however fans are really speculating it to be for her Eminem feature, "Roman's Revenge" (the alleged Lil Kim diss). * In other Nicki related news - her album "Pink Friday" has broken the record for "most consecutive weeks in top 10 albums" (by a female rap artist/album) on the Billboard's 200.

Did Lil Kim Really Sell 113,000 Copies Of Her Black Friday Mixtape - Or Is She Bluffing For Publicity?

It's been over 28 hours since Lil Kim released her "Black Friday" Mixtape (Nicki Minaj Diss) and she's already claiming to have sold 113,000 copies, while also becoming the number 1 seller in Pay Pal history - but the press and media are calling her announcement bluff & nothing more than a publicity stunt.

So here's the entire scoop, Lil Kim has been doing a daily countdown since last week (on Twitter & Facebook) towards the release date of her "Black Friday" mix-tape.

Kimmy Blanco has been hyping her mix-tape release and claiming it would be available at all major retailers, but fans were confused when they found out they could only get their hands on "Black Friday" by ordering it directly via Pay Pal - something sure doesn't sound legit here.

This is where she really jumped out the window (like Nicki Minaj said) - After claiming to have sold 113,000 copies within 28 hours and becoming the number 1 seller in Pay Pal history, the staff at Street Anthem decided to check the facts and call Pay Pal themselves to verify if Ms. Blanco's claims are true.

According to Street Anthem, after they verified with Pay Pal, were told there is no such thing as a "number 1 seller" in Pay Pal history - just for the simple fact that they don't keep track of sales, they only PROCESS the payments for their clients, therefore there is also no such thing as a record for top processed payment.

If what she's claiming were to somehow be true, then Kimberly Jones would have made a total of $1,128, 870 profit from her alleged 113,000 copies sold - which still wouldn't compare to Nicki Minaj's "Pink Friday" album, which just hit the number 1 spot on the Billboard Charts last week.

As far as the quality of Kim's music, the reviews for "Black Friday" are officially in - let's take a look at what Hip Hop experts had to say via MTV:

I think it is safe say to Lil Kim answered the question if Botox causes brain damage or not,” says Trent Clark, Managing Editor of The Smoking Section.

I know it's a dated name, I know I haven't liked anything that has come out from her in almost seven years, but I don't think it’s THAT crazy as far as appealing to her hardcore fan base, says Kazeem Famuyide, Online Editor/Staff Writer at The Source Magazine.

Lil Kim obviously hasn't been studying the modern day music consumer,” says Jozen Cummings, Digital Content Director of XXL Magazine

But everyone isn't bashing Lil Kim for her miss-perception of the current Hip Hop industry, as a matter of fact - comedian and [hardcore] Lil Kim supporter, Katt Williams, has her back:

Make sure to check back here for more scoop on the beef between Nicki Minaj & Lil Kim - as they compete for the female rap throne.

Lil Kim Goes H.A.M: Fans Anticipate Black Friday

Kimmy Blanco goes all H.A.M on her remixed rendition of Jay Z & Kanye West's [official] new track.

The track comes from their new highly anticipated album collaboration, "Watch The Throne" - which is set for release within the next two months during March.

Lil Kim raps an overly auto-tuned verse on this remix which is backed by her new IRS (International Rock Stars) crew. If you haven't heard the H.A.M (IRS remix) yet, you can definitely get a hold of it online here

Now let's get to the real scoop, the beef between Nicki & Kim.

The countdown has officially begun, Lil Kim is back and she's claiming her throne again. The "Queen B" recently announced via Twitter that her new mix-tape, "Black Friday", will be released on valentines day, February 14th - "Who The Fuck Want War".

Kim also recently released, "Clap Clap", another IRS official track from her long awaited Black Friday mix-tape, in which she took a couple more shots at Nicki Minaj - "So mention my name out your mouth/ And before you take a bow, we'll be clapping from the crowd". Click here to hear the entire track on Direct Lyric.

As soon as Black Friday was released as the first official Nicki Minaj diss [track], it got over two million hits within the first two days - and that was only the first track. It's only a matter of time now before the official mix-tape drops - will Kim still hold down her "Queen B" title, or does she need a "back rub" as Nicki would say?

Is Female Rapper, "Pinky", Trying To Shine Under Nicki Minaj & Lil Kim's Light?

Has-been porn star now-turned female rapper/singer, "Pinky",  had to set the record straight and just let everyone know - that she already "knew" Nicki Minaj before she was a famous rapper.

If you're a fan of Nicki Minaj, then you've probably already heard the rumors from this website, about her doing porn back in the day - before she was a famous rapper. Now all of the sudden another porn-star has jumped into the rap scene - is it a coincidence that Pinky & Nicky have both done porn in the past, or is Pinky just trying to follow in Nicki's footsteps and throw her name around to become popular?

Pinky has recently released her new single, "Bad Bitch", and it's actually pretty hot - it's great news that more female rappers are now stepping into the game. Towards the end of the interview, Pinky briefly spoke about Lil' Kim when she was asked about her feelings towards the Nicki vs Kim [beef] - and based on her response it seems she's more for team Nicki, I really wonder what the "Queen B" has to say about that?

Lil Kim has also just recently released some new behind the scenes footage, check out Kim's Black Friday (Nicki Minaj Diss) video shoot - not to favor anyone, cause I do love them both, but I have to admit that Kim did rip Nicki another whole with "Black Friday".

Fashion Alert: Nicki Minaj VS. Lady Gaga

Decide for your self - two major female superstars, two major fashion styles

VS

Rumors from online forums are spreading rather quick, allegedly Gaga & Minaj have been working on a future project - Sounds like a great collaboration, I bet 2011 will be very promising.

Is Nicki Minaj The Lady Gaga Of Hip-Hop/Rap?

She is currently considered the new sex symbol and female face of hip-hop and rap music, her album "Pink Friday" has taken the charts by storm, and has become the second-highest selling debut album in all female history (for the hip-hop and rap genre) - If she manages to top Lauren Hill's album sales, Nicki Minaj might just make history there.

The only other recent female artist to make such an impact on music sales amongst large audiences world-wide is Lady Gaga (current world-wide top selling pop-artist).

With such elaborate tastes for fashion in their acts, Minaj and Gaga, both represent an entire generation of pop-culture bridging with the high-fashion industry - They both wore Alexander McQueen couture dresses to the MTV VMA's (Lady Gaga is a publicly known fan of the lost designer, RIP Alexander McQueen).

Minaj and Gaga are two artists who are both very innovative with their styles and bring forth a fresh new approach to music. When people bring up the topic of pop-culture, the general audience automatically considers Madonna and Michael Jackson the king and queen of pop, but Lady Gaga is also now just as popular as they are - taking that throne to another level.

With her ability to sing and her clever rap tactics, it's no question that Minaj has a talent that many female rappers have not yet brought forth to the game. She's worked with top notch players in the rap industry such as Drake, Lil' Wayne, Kanye West, and Rihanna - "Pink Friday" was also number 2 on the Billboard 200 right behind Kanye West's album, "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" (Kanye sold 495,000 while Nicki sold 395,000).

She's been taking many stabs by other female rap artists such as Lil' Kim and Tiye Phoenix, because of her look and style - There's been heavy controversy about the beef with Lil' Kim and Minaj, mainly because of a record which was recorded with both artists, but did not recognize Lil' Kim as much. With all of the current controversy in the industry, it's difficult to picture what is going to play out for both of their careers - but if we consider numbers, Minaj is currently taking the game to another level.
